Flora Tickell

Flora Tickell is a Research and Insight Analyst at the General Medical Council since July 2021, focusing on desk-based research and the production of annual reports, including overseeing edits and quality assurance for various chapters. Previous experience includes serving as a Student Engagement Officer at The University of Manchester, where responsibilities involved coordinating peer support schemes and supporting student leaders. Flora also held roles as a Research Student at Universidad de Concepción, studying the physiological capabilities of Parastacus pugnax, and as a Student Researcher at The University of Manchester, investigating student feedback systems. Additional roles include festival and catering assistance at The Charleston Trust and Glyndebourne, and a sales assistant position at Waitrose & Partners. Flora holds a Master of Science in Science Communication and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, both from The University of Manchester.
