Howard Lewis has an extensive background in public engagement and advocacy within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the Regional Liaison Adviser for the General Medical Council since September 2012, Howard focuses on improving relationships with key interest groups across the South East Coast. Prior to this role, Howard was the Public Engagement Manager at Coastal West Sussex Clinical Commissioning Group and West Sussex Primary Care Trust, where responsibilities included developing comprehensive engagement strategies. Earlier experience includes managing patient involvement services at Adur, Arun and Worthing Primary Care Trust and overseeing information and advocacy services at the Royal National Institute of the Blind. Howard holds a BSc. (Hons) in Environmental Planning and Design from the University of Aston in Birmingham.
