Rachel Procter is an accomplished Planning Manager at the General Medical Council since June 2010, responsible for managing significant programmes and projects within the Registration and Revalidation directorate, including the implementation of a new telephony system and the establishment of a Clinical Assessment Centre. With experience in the Continuous Improvement Team, Rachel has successfully delivered projects using the DMAIC life cycle and promoted a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, Rachel served as a representative in the Patient Liaison Service and handled cases within the Investigation Team, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks and patient safety. Prior to this role, Rachel was the Clerk to H.M. Coroner at Manchester City Council, managing high-profile inquests. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Woven Textile Design from Loughborough University and a Master's Degree in Computer Aided Textile Design from The University of Huddersfield.
