Stephen Gannon has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Stephen has worked in the General Medical Council since 2014, first as a Senior Project Manager in Education and Standards, leading a UK-wide program on differential attainment in medical education. Stephen then transitioned to the role of Senior Project Manager in Fitness to Practise, where they focused on information sharing and developed robust processes and IT systems. Before joining the General Medical Council, Stephen worked at Trafford MBC as a Business Change Manager and Senior Business Analyst, managing various projects and collaborating with stakeholders. Stephen also worked at the Institute of Revenues, Rating and Valuation as a Lecturer in Benefits Law, designing and delivering training packages and achieving high pass rates. Their work experience started in 1999 at Bolton Council as a Senior Policy, Quality & Training Officer.
Stephen Gannon completed their education from 1995 to 1998 at Lancaster University, where they earned a BA Honours in Communication and Media.
