Illeme Amegatcher

Illeme Amegatcher, PhD, has a comprehensive background in food science and technology with extensive experience at General Mills since October 2008, currently serving as R&D Manager for the Food Service Division and as Co-Founder/Technical Manager of G Works within the General Mills Venture Studio. Previous roles at General Mills include Nutrition Lead for Scientific and Regulatory Affairs and Associate Manager of Innovation Technology and Quality at the Bell Institute of Health & Nutrition. Additionally, Illeme Amegatcher holds entrepreneurship experience as the Managing Owner of Shomikks Custom Jewelry and Accessories since September 2019. Academic credentials include a PhD and a Master's Degree in Food Science and Technology from Cornell University and a Bachelor's Degree from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University.
