David Richardson

David Richardson currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Software & Services Engineering at General Motors, leading initiatives in connected vehicle technology and advanced driver-assistance systems. Prior experience includes over a decade at Apple, where David held positions such as Vice President of Software Services and Director of Engineering for Apple Cloud Infrastructure, managing global developer teams. Additional roles encompass contributions to the USENIX Association as a program committee member, academic positions at the University of Washington—including teaching and research—and co-founding Skytap, a pioneering cloud compute company. David holds a Ph.D. and a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Washington, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Cornell University.
