Fahim Javid

Fahim Javid has extensive experience in the engineering field, currently serving as the Engineering Group Manager for SIL Simulation Integration at General Motors since February 2012. In this role, Fahim built and led a new software engineering team and spearheaded the adoption of Agile methodologies for a global team encompassing approximately 250 engineers. Previous positions at General Motors included leading active safety software diagnostics efforts and collaborating on diagnostics systems for autonomous vehicles. Fahim began a career as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, focusing on control systems and mechanical vibrations. Fahim holds a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ontario Tech University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology.
