Keyur Patel

Keyur Patel is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive and transportation industries. Currently serving as Engineering Group Manager at General Motors since August 2025, Keyur previously held various positions at Nexteer Automotive from April 2013 to August 2025, including Embedded Software Engineering Manager and Technical Software Lead for the Autonomous Safety & Comfort Team. Prior to that, Keyur worked at GE Transportation from May 2008 to March 2013, where responsibilities included team leadership in locomotive communication design and control system architecture. Additional experience includes roles at OSI Systems, focusing on test development for semiconductor sensors, and at OMAN INDIA, leading a design team. Keyur holds a Master’s degree in Embedded Software Engineering from Gannon University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication from Saurashtra University.
