Marcos A. Purty

Marcos A. Purty is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the automotive and fulfillment industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Global Quality, Supplier Quality, and Operational Excellence, as well as Vice President of Global Workplace Safety at General Motors since June 2022, Marcos previously held various senior leadership roles at both General Motors and Amazon. Notable achievements include leading North America Fulfillment at Amazon Robotics and driving significant productivity improvements and strategic initiatives at General Motors over a more than two-decade career. Educational credentials include an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business and executive programs at Stanford University Graduate School of Business and Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, complemented by a BS in Electrical Engineering from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
