Stephanie Jones

Stephanie Jones is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and commercial transactions, currently serving as Assistant General Counsel at General Motors since October 2011. In this role, Stephanie manages a team of attorneys and paralegals, overseeing a substantial international patent docket with a significant budget while synchronizing IP strategies with business stakeholders. Previously, Stephanie held positions as Lead Counsel for EV Growth Operations and Global Intellectual Property at GM, as well as Counsel at Harness, Dickey & Pierce, P.L.C., where key contributions included leading intellectual property due diligence for a major acquisition. Stephanie's educational background includes a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law and a B.S. in Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry from Michigan State University, complemented by executive training at the University of Michigan.
