Glenn Frankel

Glenn Frankel is the Senior Vice President, Head of North America P&C Claims at Gen Re. Glenn has over two decades of experience in the insurance industry.

Frankel began their career as Managing Counsel at Travelers in 1997. Glenn then spent six years as Vice President at The Hartford, leading claim groups responsible for asbestos, environmental, mass tort and construction defect claims, multinational claims and ceded and assumed reinsurance claims and commutations. In 2003, they joined CNA Insurance as Senior Vice President. In this role, they led Complex Commercial Claims, comprised of Environmental & Mass Tort, Construction Defect, and Life Sciences. Glenn also oversaw CNA’s loss portfolio transfer agreement of its asbestos and legacy environmental claims to National Indemnity Company.

Frankel has a deep understanding of the insurance industry and the complex claims process. Glenn is a strategic thinker who has been successful in leading and developing teams. Glenn is currently based in New York.

Glenn Frankel received a Doctor of Law from St. John's University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wesleyan University. Glenn is certified as an arbitrator from ARIAS US.
