Harindra Chandrasena

Harindra Chandrasena is an experienced executive in the insurance and reinsurance sectors, currently serving as President & CEO of Gen Re Life since July 2021, following roles as Senior VP for Corporate Development and Inforce Management, and VP for Inforce Management. Prior to Gen Re, Harindra held multiple leadership positions at Swiss Re from March 2014 to June 2021, including VP for Inforce Management Americas and Portfolio Management Actuary. Harindra began a career at Manulife from August 2007 to March 2014, working in various junior roles focused on CALM Reserving, Derivatives Modelling, Asset Liability Management, and Wealth Product Development. Harindra holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Actuarial Science from the University of Manitoba, completed in 2007.
