John Gschwind

John C. Gschwind is the Senior Vice President, Legal, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Rexel, USA, Inc. He has held that position since he joined Rexel USA in 2006. Mr. Gschwind is responsible for the Legal, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Safety, Compliance and Corporate Governance functions for Rexel USA.

Prior to joining Rexel, Mr. Gschwind was a member of the General Electric Company Legal Staff for almost two decades, holding senior legal positions with GE Corporate, GE Consumer & Industrial and GE Power Systems.

Mr. Gschwind is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (B.B.A. Finance) and the Northwestern University School of Law. He has also participated in executive management programs with GE in the United States and Europe and with Rexel at the International Institute of Management Development (IMD) in Switzerland. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and Authorized House Counsel in the State of Connecticut.

Mr. Gschwind is a member of the Advisory Board and Executive Committee of the de Nicola Center for Ethics and Culture at the University of Notre Dame, a member of the Board of Trustees and Vice Chairperson of Holy Cross College, Notre Dame, Indiana and a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of St. Joseph High School in Trumbull, Connecticut.
