John Gilfilen

John Gilfilen has extensive experience in the steel fabrication and aerospace industries. Currently working at General Tool Company since September 2016, John specializes in aerospace fabrication and welding. Prior experience includes a decade at Gilfilen Steel Services as a detailer, developing structural and miscellaneous steel shop drawings using AutoCAD. Additional roles include project estimator, project manager, and detailer at Ridge Metal Works, Inc., where project planning for steel fabrication took place, and shop supervisor and detailer at Complete Mechanical Services, overseeing fabricators and ensuring quality control. John also owned Westside Fabrication from January 2003 to March 2006, handling various business operations. John earned an Associate's Degree in Construction Management from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College and completed high school at Glen Este High School.
