Scott Gitterman, Esq., CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, AIGP, FIP, is a seasoned legal professional with extensive expertise in privacy compliance and data protection. Currently serving as Head of Privacy Affairs and Associate General Counsel at Generali Global Assistance North America, and as Director of Legal Affairs and Privacy Officer at GMMI Inc., Scott is responsible for overseeing privacy programs, regulatory compliance, and legal guidance on various agreements. Scott has a track record of managing legal projects, coordinating data incident response teams, and working with cross-functional departments to ensure comprehensive compliance with privacy laws. Previous experience includes roles at Modernizing Medicine, Inc., Adorno & Yoss, and as a research assistant at Nova Southeastern University, supported by a Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University and a Graduate Certificate in Data Security from Cornell Law School.
