Sebastian Miernik

Sebastian Miernik is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security and risk management. Currently serving as the Chief Security Officer at Generali Poland since April 2023, Sebastian is responsible for reviewing security implementations, identifying improvements, and developing a comprehensive IT security strategy. Prior to this role, Sebastian was the Cybersecurity (SecOps) Team Leader at Nationale-Nederlanden Poland, where responsibilities included managing security operations and incident response. Previous positions include IT Security and GDPR Coordinator at Budimex, IT & Security Auditor at PZU, and roles in performance testing and security training. With a Master's degree in National Security from Akademia Obrony Narodowej, Sebastian has demonstrated expertise in building security frameworks, managing teams, and promoting security awareness across organizations.
