Francesco Cigui

Francesco Cigui serves as the Group CFO for Area - Group Accounting Policies, Consolidation and Financial Reporting Function at Generali since June 2020, overseeing the quarterly IFRS consolidation process and contributing to both internal and public financial reporting. Responsibilities include updating the Group Integrated Scope and managing Non Audit Services requests while ensuring compliance with the Foreign Subsidies Regulation. Prior to Generali, Francesco held a position at Alleanza Assicurazioni from July 2019 to April 2020, where oversight of the investment portfolio and compliance with service level agreements were key duties. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Bank and Financial Management from the University of Ljubljana and a BSc in International Economics of Financial and Insurance Markets from Università degli Studi di Trieste, complemented by earlier education at MIB Trieste School of Management and Stillwater High School.
