Jean Plattard has extensive experience in European policy and consulting, currently serving as General Representative to the EU for Generali since May 2021 and as a Founding Investor for The Happy Cyclist since January 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Consultant and Consultant at Afore Consulting from September 2015 to May 2021 and as an EU Policy Adviser at the Federation of European Accountants from August 2013 to August 2015. Jean's early career features a traineeship with the United Nations in 2010 and another with the OSCE in 2008. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in European Law from Université Paris Nanterre and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Essex. Jean is also currently pursuing further education at the Institut des Hautes Etudes de Défense Nationale (IHEDN) since 2014.
