Matthias Gerbavsits

Matthias Gerbavsits serves as the Regional Director for Generali, overseeing operations in Vienna, Lower Austria, and Burgenland since September 2014. In this role, Matthias manages exclusive and independent distribution, marketing, HR, customer service, education, and sales support. Previously, Matthias held various leadership positions such as Head of Exclusive Distribution Austria and involved in sales management and digital transformation initiatives within Generali's CEE Holding. Matthias's career began with multiple internships and student jobs in organizations like the European Parliament and Verbund AG between 2007 and 2014. Matthias holds a Master in International Business from Grenoble Ecole de Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business, Economics, and Social Science from WU Vienna, along with executive education experiences at prestigious institutions including London Business School and IEDC - Bled School of Management.
