Raphael Borrel

Raphael Borrel has extensive experience in risk management and compliance, currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer for Generali in the United Kingdom since March 2025. Prior roles include Chief Risk Officer and Compliance Officer at PoloWorks, Director of Risk Management at CNA Hardy, and multiple senior positions at AXA XL, including CRO at XL Catlin Services and Head of Information Risk. Raphael has also held significant roles at Insurance Strategy Perspectives, avantage, Validus, Ernst and Young, Deloitte, and Accenture, focusing on large-scale risk transformations, regulatory compliance, and strategic management within the insurance sector. Raphael holds a Master's degree in European Economics from Nantes Université and a degree in International Business from EM Strasbourg Business School.
