Elias Tragas

Elias Tragas is a skilled technical professional with extensive experience in machine learning and infrastructure. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Generalist since May 2025, Elias previously held the position of Senior Staff TLM at Stack AV and worked as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer in ML Infrastructure at Cruise. Prior to that, Elias was employed as an ML Software Engineer at Google and as a Machine Learning Engineer at Fathom, where the focus was on natural language processing, specifically enhancing model training speed and accuracy with transformer architectures. Elias earned a Bachelor's Degree with a double major in Computer Science (A.I Specialist) and Cognitive Science, along with a Math Minor, from the University of Toronto between September 2013 and June 2017.
