Adam Root

Adam Root has extensive work experience in the biotechnology industry. Adam is currently the Vice President and Head of Protein Sciences at Generate Biomedicines, Inc., a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Protein Sciences from May 2020 to November 2021. Before joining Generate Biomedicines, Inc., Adam worked at Pfizer for over 16 years, starting in June 2004 as a Principal Scientist and continuing in that role until May 2020.

Adam Root has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire.
