Sacha Prashad

Sacha Prashad, PhD, currently serves as Senior Director and Head of Translational Sciences at Generate:Biomedicines since April 2024. Prior to this role, Sacha held various positions at Allogene Therapeutics from January 2019 to April 2024, including Director and Associate Director of Translational Oncology, as well as Senior Manager in the same field. Sacha's experience also includes serving as Senior Scientist at Notable Labs from January 2016 to June 2018, where the focus was on developing personalized treatment services for cancer patients. Additionally, Sacha was a Junior Investigator Committee member for the International Society of Stem Cell Research from September 2013 to September 2016, contributing to event planning for early career development in stem cell research. Sacha earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in stem cell biology from UCLA, where participation in the Mikkola lab included being an HHMI fellow.
