Michael Mahal has extensive experience in engineering and technical management within the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as the Director of Technical Asset Operations at Generate since March 2018, Michael has also held roles such as Senior Program Manager and Project Manager at the same company. Prior to this, Michael was the Vice President of Engineering at Onyx Renewable Partners, LP from July 2015 to March 2018, and served as the Director of Engineering at Gehrlicher Solar from February 2012 to June 2015. Michael's career began as a PV Design Engineer at Mercury Solar Systems from September 2010 to January 2012. Michael holds a Master of Engineering in Energy Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Lehigh University.
