Nils Hartung

Nils Hartung is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Vice President of the Investment Team at Generate since October 2021. Prior to this role, Nils worked at Nomura from July 2017 to October 2021 as an Investment Banking Associate, specializing in Energy, Infrastructure, and Industrials, following an earlier position there as an Investment Banking Analyst. Nils gained additional experience as a Summer Analyst at Nomura in 2016 and worked internships in corporate development, corporate finance, and corporate banking at companies including Rheinmetall Group and BERGFÜRST Bank AG. Nils holds a Master of Science in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics and a Bachelor of Science in International Economics, Management, and Finance from Università Bocconi, complemented by exchange programmes at Nova School of Business and Economics and UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
