Adam Villa

Adam Villa has a diverse work experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Adam currently serves as the VP of Technical Development at Generation Bio since June 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Sr. Director of Technical and Research Operations at Generation Bio from November 2019 to May 2022.

Before joining Generation Bio, Adam Villa held various positions at CRISPR Therapeutics. Adam was the Executive Director of Technical Operations from July 2019 to November 2019, Senior Director of Technical Operations from March 2018 to June 2019, and Director of Clinical Product Logistics from March 2017 to March 2018.

Adam Villa also gained experience at Biogen, where they worked as the Associate Director of Clinical Drug Supply from October 2015 to March 2017, Associate Director of Operations Research from August 2014 to October 2015, and Senior Manager of Operations Research from January 2013 to July 2014.

Earlier in their career, Adam Villa worked at Genzyme as the Global Operational Excellence Leader from June 2008 to January 2013, and at Amgen as an LFM Intern from June 2007 to December 2007.

Adam began their career at Wyeth BioPharma as a Process Engineer from January 2002 to May 2006.

Adam Villa attended Dartmouth College from 1997 to 2001, where they pursued a degree in Engineering. During this time, they also enrolled in the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Chemical Engineering. After completing their undergraduate studies, Adam proceeded to pursue higher education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). From 2006 to 2008, they attended the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Operations. Concurrently, they also pursued a Master of Science (SM) in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
