Jessica Keenan

Jessica Keenan is a Senior Scientist in Molecular Biology at Generation Bio since October 2020, previously holding the position of Scientist in the same field. Prior experience includes a PhD in Bioinformatics from Boston University, where dissertation research focused on a novel method for characterizing transcription coregulators. Jessica’s early career involved roles as a Research Associate in bioinformatics and metabolic engineering at Joule Unlimited Technologies, Inc., and as an undergraduate researcher at both the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Boston University's Reddien Laboratory, where significant research was conducted on engineering signaling pathways in neurons and Wnt signaling in planarians. Jessica earned a BS in Biological Engineering from MIT in 2009.
