Watt Stephens has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2006, they began their career as an Equity Research Analyst at Rockwood Investment Partners. From 2008 to 2016, they worked at Frost Bank, progressing from an Associate Relationship Manager to a Relationship Manager and eventually a Relationship Banking Officer. In 2015, they pursued an MBA at the Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business. In 2017, they joined Banyan Energy Partners as VP Finance, where they stayed until 2018. In 2018, Watt became a Partner at OZ Capital, LLC, a position they currently hold. In 2019, they co-founded Halcyon Thruput and served as Co-CEO until 2022. Finally, in 2021, they joined ESE, Inc. as the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development.

Watt Stephens completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a focus on Finance at Southern Methodist University from 2003 to 2007. Watt then pursued further education and obtained their Master of Business Administration degree from SMU Cox School of Business between 2015 and 2017. During this time, their MBA program specialized in Finance and Energy. In addition, they also attended the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2006 to study Public Finance and Economics, although the completion year for this program was not specified.
