Amneris Narvaez

Amneris Narvaez has extensive experience in the education sector, starting as a Special Education Teacher at Springfield Public Schools from February 2008 to July 2015. Following this, Amneris served as Camp Registrar at the YMCA of Greater Springfield from May 2003 to September 2007, where responsibilities included managing registration records and communications with parents. From September 2015 to February 2019, Amneris worked as a Stand Organizer for Stand for Children, focusing on community engagement and leadership development in Western Massachusetts. Since February 2019, Amneris has been the Regional Director of Central & Western MA Programs at Generation Teach, leading Teaching Fellow recruitment and strengthening academic programs while enhancing family engagement. Amneris holds a Master's degree in Math Education from Lesley University, a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Teaching from Westfield State University, and an Associate's degree in Deaf Studies from Holyoke Community College.
