Jeffrey Hensley, CFRE, has extensive work experience in the field of nonprofit fundraising and development. Since 2016, they have been working as the Managing Director at Generis. In this role, they provide leadership and guidance in fundraising and campaign management.

Hensley also held the role of Managing Director of Development at Hanover Research from 2008 to 2010. Jeffrey played a pivotal role in establishing a successful development consulting service for higher education and healthcare clients.

Before that, they were a Development Officer and Special Assistant to the President at The Council for Christian Colleges and Universities from 2007 to 2008. Here, they managed grant proposals, developed new funding sources, and cultivated major donors.

Hensley's academic background includes positions at Virginia Theological Seminary as an Assistant Professor of Theology from 2001 to 2007, and at Baylor University as an Assistant Professor of Religion from 1999 to 2001. Jeffrey also served as a Junior Fellow at The Erasmus Institute, University of Notre Dame, from 1998 to 1999.

Throughout their career, Hensley has demonstrated expertise in fundraising, campaign management, grant writing, and major donor cultivation. With their extensive experience and knowledge in the field, they continue to make significant contributions to the non-profit sector.

Jeffrey Hensley, CFRE, has an extensive education history. From 1987 to 1991, they attended Wheaton College where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Philosophy, Theology, and Classics. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued various graduate degrees at Yale University from 1991 to 1998, specializing in Theology and Religious Studies.

In addition to their academic achievements, Jeffrey Hensley has obtained the CFRE certification from CFRE International in June 2016.
