Renee K. has more than two decades of experience in communications and public relations. Currently serving as the Director of Communications and Public Relations at Genesee Health System since May 2000, Renee previously held the position of Manager in the same department. From June 1997 to April 2000, Renee was the Fostering Success Coordinator for Fairwinds Girl Scout Council, where a Scouting program was developed for at-risk girls in the foster care system, collaborating with various agencies to provide positive experiences. Prior to this, from March 1993 to June 1997, Renee worked as the Community Relations Coordinator for McLaren Regional Medical Center / Horizon Mental Health, overseeing outreach for the Psychiatric Department. Academically, Renee obtained a Master’s degree in Training and Organizational Development from Oakland University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Western Michigan University.
