Rui Liu

Rui Liu is an accomplished bioinformatician and product development manager with extensive experience in next-generation sequencing (NGS) diagnostic product development and clinical data analysis. Currently serving as the Manager of Product Development and Senior Bioinformatician at Geneseeq Technology Inc. since July 2019, Rui Liu has successfully developed multiple NGS diagnostic products, including the NovoPM somatic prediction algorithm and the NovoNeoantigen analysis pipeline. Prior roles include Senior Bioinformatician at Novogene Corporation and Research Bioinformatician at the University of Guelph, where responsibilities encompassed pseudo-genome creation and comparative genomics analysis. Rui Liu's early career included roles at the Heilongjiang Academy of Agriculture and Harbin Pharmaceutical Group, focusing on virus detection and molecular experiments, respectively. Rui Liu holds a Master's Degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from Harbin Normal University.
