Gregory Kim

Gregory Kim has extensive experience in the insurance industry, primarily working for Gen Re in various roles. Gregory started their career in 1995 at Gen Re, Cologne Re of Dublin, where they worked as an Alternative Solutions Underwriter until 1997. From 1998 to 2002, they served as the Principal and Regional Underwriter for Alternative Solutions at the same company. In 2002, they moved to Gen Re, Kölnische Rükversicherungs-Gesellschaft AG, where they worked as a Treaty Underwriter until 2003. Gregory then worked at Gen Re, Tokyo Liason Office, Kölnische Rükversicherungs-Gesellschaft AG as a Regional Alternative Solutions and Treaty Underwriter from 2004 to 2005. Finally, they joined Gen Re, Genesis & General Star in 2005 as the Vice President.

Gregory Kim holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics and Economics from Binghamton University. Gregory also obtained a Sommelier degree from the Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas. In addition, they have certifications including the Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) from The Institutes, the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) from The Institutes, the Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) from the Casualty Actuarial Society, and the Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) from the American Academy of Actuaries.
