Norman Goldschmidt has extensive work experience in the engineering and construction industry, specifically in the life sciences, health care, and higher education sectors. Norman is currently the President and a member of the Board of Directors at Genesis Architects/Engineers/Constructors since October 2009. In addition, they serve as a Consultant at NSF International, providing expertise in regulatory compliance for the life science industry. Norman previously worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb for 20 years in various roles, including Executive Director of Global Engineering, where they led cross-functional teams and managed a significant Capital Plan. Norman also has teaching experience as an Adjunct Professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Early in their career, Norman held engineering positions at Innovation Associates, FADCO, and IBM.

Norman Goldschmidt completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering & Computer Science from the University at Buffalo between 1977 and 1982. Norman then pursued further education and earned a second Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Management from SUNY Empire State College from 1993 to 1996. Prior to their university education, they completed their high school education at Binghamton Central HS with a focus on Honors/Regents High School/Secondary Diploma Program from 1974 to 1977.
