Rachel Leonard

Rachel Leonard has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of roles and industries. Rachel began their career at College Houses as a House Director, where they oversaw student housing operations. Rachel then worked as an English Instructor at CHUNGDAHM Learning, teaching ESL and test-taking skills. Rachel later became an ESL/GED Instructor at Austin Community College.

In 2014, Rachel joined Sylvan Learning as a Program Manager and then transitioned to become an Academic Director at Sylvan Learning Austin, focusing on academic support and development. Rachel then worked as a Regional Manager at The Cambridge Institute of International Education, implementing sales and retention strategies for partner schools.

Rachel continued their career in operations, serving as an Operations Manager at EF Education First and later at Girls Who Code as an Operations Specialist. Rachel also held the position of Operations Manager at Community Housing Expansion of Austin (CHEA), where they managed daily operations.

Most recently, Rachel has been working at Genesis Digital, LLC, starting as a Human Resources Associate and progressing to the role of Director of Human Resources. Rachel is currently the Senior Director of Human Resources, utilizing their expertise in this field.

Throughout their career, Rachel has demonstrated skills in leadership, operations, and human resources, making their a valuable asset to any organization.

Rachel Leonard received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from Western Michigan University in 2008. Rachel then went on to earn a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from The University of Texas at Austin from 2009 to 2012.
