Matthew Barnes

Matthew Barnes is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in architecture and solutions design, currently serving as a Senior Solutions Architect at Genesis since June 2023. Since September 2002, Matthew has been a Consulting Architect for Cogitatus Solutions, providing architecture consulting for various clients. Previous roles include Enterprise Architect and Senior Solutions Architect at Kotahi Logistics LP Ltd, Lead Architect for Digital Platform at Fletcher Building, and Enterprise Architect at TVNZ. Matthew has also held positions at Techspace Consulting Limited, PwC, Capita IT and Networks, and Cogitatus Ltd, showcasing a comprehensive background in enterprise architecture and technical design. Matthew holds a New Zealand Certificate in Electronics & Computing from Auckland University of Technology, completed between 1992 and 1995.
