Rajdip Barman

Rajdip Barman is a highly experienced psychiatrist and healthcare leader, currently serving as Director at SIMHI Healthcare since May 2025, while simultaneously holding positions as Attending Psychiatrist at both Humboldt County Behavioral Health and Contra Costa Regional Medical Center since January 2024. Additionally, Rajdip has been the Director of Inpatient Behavioral Health & Chair at Genesis Health System since August 2020. With a strong academic background, Rajdip has completed a Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship at Cambridge Health Alliance, Harvard Medical School, and served as Assistant Professor and Clerkship Director at University Healthcare - Berkeley Medical Center from August 2017 to August 2020. Prior experience includes residency at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and roles in various psychiatric practices, demonstrating expertise in both inpatient and outpatient services across diverse populations. Rajdip's education includes MD degrees in Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry, and extensive training with fellowships and research contributions in the field.
