Aaron Alanen

Aaron Alanen has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Aaron started their career at Electronic Data Systems in 1997 as an Advanced Systems Engineer, where they gained valuable knowledge from experienced mentors. Later, in 2003, they joined IntegraSys as a .Net Software Engineer, focusing on the credit union industry. At Sogeti, where they worked from 2005 to 2019, Aaron held the position of Manager Consultant, handling projects in various industries such as legal, government, banking, manufacturing, mining, and online services. Aaron developed expertise in technologies such as C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET, Typescript, Angular, Java, Teradata, SharePoint, and Javascript. During their time at Sogeti, Aaron also learned how to lead and mentor others, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and continuous learning. In 2019, they joined Genesis as a Lead Software Development Engineer.

Aaron Alanen obtained a Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS) from DeVry University, where they attended from 1993 to 1997. In 2018, they received training and became a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer from Crossfit. Recently, in 2019, they pursued studies at Allied Medical Training to become an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with a focus on NREMT and EMS.
