Anan Zhou

Anan Zhou is a research scientist who specializes in real world evidence. Anan has worked in the field for over three years, and their experience includes working with commercial payers and industry partners to understand disease burden and real-world treatment patterns. Anan has also led the development of medical chart collection surveys and assisted in the study design and proposal writing for pharmaceutical strategy initiatives. In their current position as a scientist at Genesis Research, they are responsible for analyzing large databases of administrative medical claims and helping to develop budget impact models and cost effective analyses.

Anan Zhou attended Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and received a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology with a certificate in Applied Biostatistics in 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Women's and Gender Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2016. Anan also has a diploma from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics.
