Clare Willis

Clare Willis is a Market Access Scientist at Genesis Research. Clare has a passion for science communication and enjoys writing and engaging with the public about science.

Willis obtained their PhD from Newcastle University in 2018, where they were also involved in many science communication events and activities. In 2017, they won the Newcastle University People's Choice Award for their 3 Minute Thesis talk and they also gave a talk at Soapbox Science that same year. In 2018, they gave a talk at the British Science Association SciBar and won the Newcastle University Insights Public Lecture Prize. Her article published in REACT Science magazine in 2017.

Clare Willis has a Doctor of Philosophy from Newcastle University in the field of Microbiology and Genetics, as well as an MBiochem from the University of Oxford in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology. Clare also attended Durham Johnston Comprehensive School.

They work with Michael Livingstone - Chief People Officer, Julie Munakata - Chief Operating Officer, and Wen-Hsing Wu - Senior Scientist, Real World Evidence. Their manager is Frank A. Corvino, CEO.
