Michelle Gleeson

Senior Scientist, Real World Evidence at Genesis Research

Michelle Gleeson is a senior scientist who specializes in Real World Evidence (RWE) at Genesis Research. Michelle has over twelve years of experience in health services research and has worked with a wide variety of large healthcare data bases, including Medicare, SEER-Medicare, Marketscan, NHANES, NIS, CPRD, and USRDS. In their current role, Michelle is responsible for conceptualizing the scope of projects, working with project teams to identify data needs and sources, and generating evidence and analyzing complex healthcare data using SAS, R, and SQL. Michelle has also been involved in the production and presentation of deliverables, and has developed creative solutions for complex problems. Prior to their current role, Michelle was a senior statistical programmer at SimulStat Incorporated, where they worked with a team of programmers and epidemiologists to develop statistical analysis plans, write SAS code to implement the SAP, QC the code and output with the team.

Michelle Gleeson has a PhD from Duke University in Sociology, a Master of Arts from California State University-Northridge in Sociology, and a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Northridge in Sociology.
