Yun Zhou

Yun Zhou is a Principal Scientist at Genesis Research. Yun has worked in the Real World Evidence department for 4 years and 4 months. Prior to that, they were a Statistical Analyst Programmer at STATinMED Research for 7 months and a Statistical Analyst at the Department of Animal Science North Carolina State University for 9 months. Yun is an expert in the field of HEOR and has conducted retrospective epidemiological studies in the US extended health care claim databases including MarketScan, Premier healthcare database, Flatiron, and Medicare. Yun has also developed the protocol/SAP using proposal and kick off slide as a reference, including research objective, study design, database, variables, methodology, timeline, target conferences.

In addition to their work in HEOR, Yun has also conducted statistical modeling including propensity score matching analysis, generalized linear model (GLM), logistic regression and Cox regression. Yun has also generated tables, listings, graphs and final study report according to protocol/SAP.

Yun Zhou has a master's degree in statistics from North Carolina State University, where their concentration was in biostatistics. Yun also has a Diplom in engineering from Technische Universität Dresden, with a minor in waste water treatment. In addition, they are certified as a SAS 9 Advanced Programmer and a SAS 9 Base Programmer.
