Matt Blunt

Matt Blunt has a comprehensive work experience history spanning several industries and roles. Matt served as the President of the American Automotive Policy Council from February 2011 onwards. In 2017, they became the Director of Genesis Systems (USA) LLC, a technology transformation company. Prior to this, Blunt was the Director at USAA Life Insurance Company of New York starting from 2011. Matt was also a member of the Board of Directors at Copart since January 2009. From 2009 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Advisor at The Ashcroft Group. Furthermore, Blunt has held significant political positions in Missouri, where they served as the Governor from January 2005 to January 2009 and as the Secretary of State from January 2001 to January 2005. In addition, they served in the United States Naval Reserve as an Assistant Operations and Security Officer from October 2001 to March 2002 during Operation Enduring Freedom. Blunt started their career in the political arena as a State Representative in the Missouri General Assembly from January 1999 to January 2001. Matt had a military background in the United States Navy, where they held various positions, including Navigator and Administrative Officer on the USS PETERSON (DD-969) and Engineering Officer for USS JACK WILLIAMS (FFG-24).

Matt Blunt attended the United States Naval Academy from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in History.
