Alan Devlin

Alan Devlin is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various technical roles. Currently a Staff Software Engineer at Genesys since August 2020, Alan has progressed through positions including Senior and Frontend Software Engineer. Prior to Genesys, Alan worked as a Software Developer at Planet from February 2019 to August 2020, focusing on the .NET Framework. A travel period from October 2017 to December 2018 included visits to 15 countries, where Spanish and Portuguese language skills were utilized. Additional experience includes freelance web development and IT development at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where an API was developed using Node.js. Alan's earlier roles include financial management positions at Winters Property Management Limited and various performance analysis roles in sports. Alan holds a Higher Diploma in Software Development and a Bachelor's Degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences from the University of Limerick.
