Jan Botha

Jan Botha serves as the Director of COE Security, Privacy & Compliance at Genesys since July 2016, where responsibilities include bridging internal security and compliance programs with external clients and partners. Previous roles at Genesys included Enterprise Security Solution Architect, Principal Cloud Solution Architect, Principal Solutions Consultant, Senior Solutions Consultant, and Solution Consultant, with a focus on security, architecture, and client engagement in the cloud solutions space. Prior to joining Genesys, Jan held the position of Global Operational Instructor at Interactive Intelligence and worked as a Technical Instructor at Avaya, specializing in structured training for various communication technologies. Jan holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Management and Information Technology from the University of South Africa and is a PADI MSDT certified scuba diving instructor.
