John C.

John C. is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in software architecture and developer engagement, currently serving as the Director of Developer Engagement and Software Architect at Genesys since May 2015. In this role, John manages a team of Developer Evangelists and Engineers, overseeing the design and development of the Genesys Cloud Developer Center and tools. Prior to Genesys, John held key positions at Thrivent Financial, Schneider National, and other organizations, where responsibilities included leading integration technologies, driving architectural practices, and managing substantial teams and budgets. An accomplished author, John has contributed to multiple publications on software development, particularly in the field of microservices. John holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh and a BA in Criminology and Computer Science from Marquette University.
