John Pettengill

John Pettengill is an accomplished product design leader with extensive experience in the technology and design sectors. Currently serving as Director of Product Design at Genesys, John leads a team focusing on self-service and AI initiatives aimed at enhancing user experiences. Prior roles include Product Design Manager at Pypestream, where John oversaw the redesign of a chat widget and supported the professional services team in transforming a bot flow authoring tool using insights from user research. John’s career also encompasses significant positions at Publicis.Sapient, VAL Health, and Facebook, alongside an early tenure at Razorfish in various user experience roles. John holds an MBA in Health Care Management from The Wharton School and a B.S. in Mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
