Kal Patel

Kal Patel is a seasoned professional in the field of DevOps and resilience engineering, currently serving as Vice President at Genesys since September 2017, where responsibilities also included a previous role as Senior Director and Principal Architect. Prior to this, Kal worked at SAS as a Senior Solutions Architect in R&D from March 2016 to September 2017 and contributed to Genesys | Interactive Intelligence as a Development Manager from May 2013 to March 2016. Kal’s career began at Cisco Systems, where software engineering roles spanned from March 2007 to May 2013. With a commitment to innovation and a strong advocacy for a DevOps culture emphasizing systems thinking and continual improvement, Kal holds a degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, earned between 2004 and 2006.
