Maya Raytan is a software engineer currently employed at Genesys since February 2023, previously holding a role as a student software engineer. Maya gained research experience at Tel Aviv University from July 2022 to September 2023 in the Borenstein Lab for Computational Microbiome, focusing on anomaly detection in microbiome data through machine learning techniques. Prior to this, Maya worked in various capacities within Israeli Military Intelligence from September 2016 to June 2020, starting as a satellite operator and account manager, then advancing to the role of product manager, where responsibilities included leading product life cycles and collaborating with development teams in an Agile environment. Maya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Life Science (Bioinformatics) from Tel Aviv University, completed in 2023, and attended Alliance High School in Tel Aviv from 2013 to 2016.
