Lene Finnby has a diverse work experience in the laboratory field. Lene started in 2006 with a summer job at Axis-Shield PoC AS as a Laboratory Summer job. In 2007, they took a summer and part time job at the laboratory at Calpro AS. In 2009, they worked at Oslo Universitetssykehus HF, Avdeling for Mikrobiologi - Rikshospitalet as an Ekstravakt/sommervikar ved laboratoriet, where they performed DNA isolation, RealTime PCR, and Microbial Diagnostics in human samples (tissue, blood, feces, saliva. . .). In 2011, they worked as a Product Specialist at Lab-Tech AS. In 2015, they started at Genetic Analysis AS as a Customer Service Manager, Servicelab Manager, Clinical Services Coordinator, and Lab Technician, where they were responsible for experimental design, writing protocols, executing Laboratory Experiments, data analysis and report writing, production of reagents and buffers, and equipment maintenance.
Lene Finnby attained a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Millersville from 2004 to 2007. Lene then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, General from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB) from 2007 to 2009. Lastly, they completed a Master of Science in Microbiology, General from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB) from 2009 to 2011.
